embraces each and every one in the Church, and embraces each and every one through the Church."19
This is my simple understanding of the meaning of Mother Mary being the Mother of the Church:
Question: If everyone has a soul-mate, then who is your soul mate as Jesus Christ?
God’s answer:
As God stated, He (Jesus) married the church. The church is His bride. Note that God also portrayed Mother Mary, his soul-mate, as His bride. In Heaven, soul-mates have the same mother. As the church is Jesus soul-mate, then Mother Mary is the Mother of the church. In the Chapter, the Road Less Travelled, God explains how one becomes a bride of Christ through spiritual union (marriage). Once this marriage is consummated, one becomes the soul- mate of Christ. Thus, one becomes a sibling of Christ.
In the sculpture, Mother Mary wears her crown as Queen. She is the Head of the House of God which houses the children of God. The House of God is the edifice. Edifice means “a building, especially a large, imposing one; a complex system of beliefs”20.
The real church are its members. Chapter 22 defines who the members of the church as the brides-to-be, the brides and the spouse.
The current interpretation of Mother Mary’s title is that she is the Mother to all who invoke her (a Patroness). Mother Mary became the Mother of the Church when Jesus told her: “Mother behold your son, son behold your Mother”.
